And well, why wouldn\u2019t it? No one enjoys the traffic, especially if you\u2019re on a bus that\u2019s en route to several bus stops before your place. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While motorcycles might be a hassle to get depending on your state\u2014with the paperwork and legalities\u2014most e-bikes pass through the paperwork without a problem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Scorpion is a class 3 electric moped bike that was recently released. With new generation e-bikes coming out with hefty price tags, the lower cost of Juiced\u2019s Scorpion was greeted with a warm welcome by early enthusiasts. However, it makes up for the weight with its classic design, because right off the bat, you can immediately understand the Scorpion\u2019s aesthetic craze. For one, the tires on this are huge, coming in at 4-inches thick. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Juiced\u2019s Scorpion is a moped e-bike that looks just like an old school Harley, topped off with the vintage huge circle headlight. It\u2019s a masculine aesthetic, but the bike itself is unisex, so anyone from all genders can ride it to town.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admittedly, the rugged-rough vibe looks even better with women riders\u2014but that\u2019s our submissive bias speaking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately, Juiced does advertise that anyone above 5\u20192\u2019\u2019 can ride the bike, but this doesn\u2019t hold up with most user reviews. Generally speaking, after reading hundreds of online reviews and forum threads, anyone above 6\u20192&#8221; just has a hard time with the bike, even after the extra money for the extended seat. I\u2019d safely recommend the Scorpion for anyone 6\u2019 and below, but feel free to play with it and take it for a test drive at your local dealership if you\u2019re any taller than that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the height limit might seem off-putting, the bike can support anyone lighter than most gamers at a 275lbs max capacity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The good news is that it doesn\u2019t feel as heavy as it is when you\u2019re actually riding the bike. Although the motor is powerful, in the context of a heavy e-bike, it doesn\u2019t quite provide as much of an accelerated kick as you would expect. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This admittedly does generate quite a disappointment with some reviews, because the accelerating experience is not as exciting as the Scorpion looks like (a Harley). But honestly, considering that e-bikes are currently driveable without paperwork, having one that looks like a motorcycle and speeds up like one is kind of pushing the envelope.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many prefer the simple pleasure of having a good-looking bike with the acceleration and drive quality of a standard e-bike ride.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On a side note: thankfully, reviews have pointed out that the Scorpion doesn\u2019t get pulled over by policemen. So, if you were worried about getting pulled over for the wrong impression\u2014it shouldn\u2019t be an issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 52V\/13Ah battery lasts about 45+ miles according to Juiced, but don\u2019t expect the full 45-mile experience at full speed. The 7 modes include 0, Eco, 1, 2, 3, Sport, and Race mode (which you unlocked to get to that advertised 28mph class 3 e-bike speed). This is assisted with Cadence Pedal Assists sensors, which means you only need to pedal a little bit to get around 20 mph on the e-bike.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For comfortability, you\u2019re greeted with a comfortable saddle seat that offers way more space than an average bicycle seat. Together with the 4-inch \u2018Mag\u2019 wheel and dual suspension, you\u2019re pretty much sitting on air while riding through gravel roads. Juiced also offers an off-road package, for those of you who want to take that road\u2014literally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Tektro 180mm and 160mm hydraulic disc brakes offer a far stronger and reliable braking system, which is crucial for an e-bike this heavy. Being able to charge your phone on the go is an underrated asset. Without it, you\u2019d have to rely on finding an outlet at your destination or carrying a bag with your powerbank.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you\u2019re out and about for errands and whatnot, sometimes the extra baggage of carrying a bag all the time gets tiresome quickly. Don\u2019t get us started on the back sweats.
